For the second December 8th in a row, I have swum at the COB! This year's water was alot cooler than last year but still worth it. Didn't really plan
to do it again on the exact same date but it just happened that we had time and the weather was perfect (except for the sand blasting my truck got). The temp
was 83, sunny and the wind was warm from the southwest but at about 15 to 20 mph. The dunes were REALLY blowing into the gulf before our eyes. I have pictures
of me swimming last year but this year my wife had her hand in front of the lens the whole time I was freezing in the surf. No constable ever came by only
turtle patrol, fishermen and drivebys waving to me as I walked the surf and treasure hunted over by the dunes. Alot of winter visitors on the island. We parked
at 16.5 miles & 19 miles north of entrance 6, walked the jetty at the cut and parked on the way toward the entrance several times. All the time nude and
loving it. Nobody else was nude that we saw and we were there from 11:00 am till 5:00 pm. The driving conditions were awesome, the tide was out and the beach
was wide, hard and perfectly flat. Can't wait to do it again!!!
