Heard from a Corpus Christi local that game warden was giving out $150.00 tickets for nudity on North Padre COB! Anyone know anything else? This news and the
fact that I forgot my billfold kept me from going yesterday while in Corpus. We went to Gulf Haven Nude Resort instead and had a great time with our new
friends.

I was at the COB on the July 20th, 21st, and today, the 23rd. I was on the COB the early afternoons of the 20th and 21st (until 6:00 p.m. or so) and on the
23rd was there from early morning until around 1:30 or so. I saw the game warden on all those days. The only persons I saw him stop for were those surf
fishing. I was nude each day I was there. He passed by my vehicle and only waved. He could clearly see I was nude, I was in my lawn chair. On one of his
passes there were a small group of people about 200yards from me (two vehicles--3men and 4 ladies all nude) strolling the water edge picking up shells. He only
gave them a wave. I talked with a couple people and no one mention any tickets. Now---from what I saw and after talking to those people--I would only assume
any tickets written were for fishing violations.

Whew!! Sounds good! I have to go back to Corpus this week-end so we're giving it a try. Now that I have your attention, do I go south past the Bob Hall
pier and go in at the dune entrance right before the PINS entrance and go north on the beach? How far north before the clothes come off? And MOST important how
are the crowds at the entrance when I'm ready to leave before dark? At So. Padre it' s like Houston at quitting time on the freeway, bumper to bumper
and going nowhere, but just the last couple of miles before the exit to the pavement. THAT'S what keeps us off the So. Padre COB on the week-ends!!
Don't know right now if we're going on Saturday but probably it'll be Sunday or both. We'll probably be in a red Isuzu Trooper, check our
profile pics and stop or wave and shout.

As you know from all my posts North Padre is where we have been going for 35 yers. Unless you have your compass backwards I dont understand your directions
? Going towards ( down the beach ) the Mansfield Cut from Bob Hall pier is South . North takes you back too civilation and too the Holiday Inn cut . The
legal place too go nude is too drive south from Bob Hall pier till you get too the national sea shore and keep going till the " sticks " stop
you . You can park there and walk in about 1/4 mile and the federal rangers never bother you .But It has been years as I can not walk that far
anymore. There is a portion of the beach north of the federal land that is in Kleeberg county.That part is not patrolled by anyone very much and a lot go
there too be nude but the gaukers are bad .We now go down on the National Sea Shore and drive down about 17 mi and watch for non nudes driving by .
We have been down there (not on weekends ) as long as 5hrs without seeing anyone. And when you do you can see them coming for about 2 miles and cover up.
Most you see down there are like us and sometime stop and talk = Have fun JimLubTx

Hey Jim, I was just asking if the directions I had gotten from someone who had been there before were correct. I would have confirmed that this weekend but we
ran out of time what with my Corpus family dictating what, when and where since we were there for a funeral. We'll try again soon now that we know that
Gulf Haven Nude Resort is a great place to stay in the Corpus area. It's in Rockport off business 35 and FM188, only twenty minutes from downtown Corpus.

Yes we went up( in our tow Jeep) a few times back as they were building it = we decided the road in had too many low hanging trees for the height of out
motorhome = Hope that is fixed = thanks JimLubTx

Didn't see any low tree branches on the dirt road (Nell) leading to the park and there were all sizes of RVs parked there. We'll probably be there on
the 5th and 6th again, going to try to actually go to North Padre!
